Halifax stopped activities from 1st April 2010, but some of our services will
carry on.
Calderdale Cares (the employee volunteering service) is
now run by Business in the Community: the new Calderdale Cares coordinator is Michelle
Maguire who can be contacted on 0113 205 8200 or
Michelle.Maguire@bitc.org.uk. She is hoping to arrange a part-time
desk in Calderdale shortly.
Bridges to Enterprise (busineses and social enterprises
working together) has moved to Calderdale Council and Richard Dawson will
be transferring with it to the Business
& Economy Section. He can now be contacted on 01422.392264 or
richard.dawson@calderdale.gov.uk
The Future
Leaders Programme (management skills development and training) developed
by Action Halifax
will continue to be run by Melanie Greenwood, through her company SMART
People Training and Development Ltd - she can be contacted on

Pauline Longley
and I will remain at The 1855 Building for much of the next 2 months to
ensure the orderly close-down of Action Halifax, and can be contacted on 01422.321028 x5, coordinator@actionhalifax.org.uk
or cexec@actionhalifax.org.uk. Pauline
is then likely also to move to the Council's Business & Economy
Section on a full time basis.
Victoria Sutcliffe and Jocelyn Hunter have moved on to
other jobs with the Council and I am leaving in June to work on my own account.
